The Job
A fantastic and rare opportunity to join a small technically led sales & marketing team providing solutions at the cutting edge of private cloud technology in and around the London area from our M3 data centre. This is a full-time employed role and we are looking for a people friendly, technology minded and enthusiastic sales account manager to present our solutions to our channel partners, existing customers and new opportunities. Working from home and and our Farnborough Ark data centre (GU14 0LH), occasionally visiting customer sites and our two London data centres. Can You Sell Private Cloud? The role combines strategic, operational, technical and commercial skills, knowledge and experience in a variety of hosting and network solutions with a particular focus on CoLocation Racks, Hosting & Networks.

Your primary duties will be to:

  • Engage with channel partners and customers to propose and explain the benefits of our solutions.
  • Be channel partner and customer focused, acting in an ethical and professional manner at all times.
  • Self-generate sales leads through outbound calling, networking and other methods.
  • Discover & explore new opportunities in markets that need our services.
  • Maintain your sales pipeline in the Datanet CRM and ensure data is recorded accurately getting it right first time.
  • Be a team player with great communication and people skills.
  • Work with other team members towards the overall growth and development of the company.
  • Experience in selling technology is a bonus but enthusiasm will win the day.

Compelling salary + pension, bonus or commission to be agreed, training and other benefits. Salary range depends on skills and experience; you may be a junior people person with huge aspirations and enthusiasm or you may be a highly experienced sales champion within our industry. Location
You will ideally be located less than a half hour from our Farnborough (M3/J4a) ARK data centre (GU14 0LH) and you will primarily be working from the data centre or office and home.
