Dante Genome House Expands at Datanet Following Successful First Deployment
Just a few months after moving into Datanet’s colocation facility at ARK Farnborough, Dante Genome House Ltd has already expanded its infrastructure footprint by taking a second full 47U rack.
Having initially deployed its first rack in February 2026, the company has now commissioned a second full 47U rack in July 2026, reflecting both the rapid growth of its platform and the confidence it has placed in Datanet’s services.
Supporting Data-Intensive Genomics Workloads
Dante Genome House is helping to advance the field of genomics by providing high-performance infrastructure to support the storage, processing and analysis of large-scale genomic data. Workloads of this nature demand resilient, secure and highly scalable colocation facilities with predictable operating costs.
One of the key reasons Dante chose Datanet was our average power billing model, which charges customers based on the power they actually consume, rather than peak reservation or 95th percentile billing.
For organisations running variable, compute-intensive workloads, this provides greater cost transparency and makes future capacity planning far simpler.
As the Dante team explained:
“Billing on average power consumed (rather than 95th percentile or peak reservation) is exactly what we need for this specific workload.”
Built for Growth
Dante’s decision to expand after only a few months demonstrates the scalability available within Datanet’s colocation services. Located within the highly secure ARK Farnborough data centre, customers benefit from enterprise-grade infrastructure, flexible power options and the ability to grow without disruption.
As part of Datanet’s commitment to giving something back, we were also delighted to make a donation to Dante Genome House’s chosen charity, the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, supporting the important work the charity does for people living with cystic fibrosis and funding vital research into new treatments and, ultimately, a cure.

Following their deployment, Dante Genome House also shared a five-star Google review of their experience:
“We moved into Datanet’s ARK facility earlier this year and the experience has been excellent from day one. The site itself is impressive, with highly specced infrastructure and security taken seriously at every level, which was a key requirement for our workloads.
The metered power offering is a rare find in colocation and makes capacity planning much more straightforward, with ample power and bandwidth provision to match.
What sets Datanet apart is the service. From the initial setup through to ongoing support, the team have been genuinely helpful and responsive. The professional services input has been particularly valuable, offering real technical expertise rather than generic hand-waving. It’s clear they actually understand what’s running in their facility.
Most importantly, there’s a real eagerness to build an actual relationship rather than just sell rack space. Conversations feel collaborative rather than transactional, which makes a big difference when you’re planning for growth. Would highly recommend.”
Thank You
We’re delighted to support Dante Genome House as their infrastructure continues to grow and would like to thank the team for placing their trust in Datanet.
We look forward to supporting the next stage of their journey and helping them scale their platform for years to come.
