During the past two days, the recent release of the Microsoft Windows 10 update has impacted the performance of ours, our suppliers and other Internet Service Provider networks.

Whilst Datanet have taken measures to increase the bandwidth for our broadband customers by 30%, we continue to see high volumes of traffic transiting our network particularly during the hours of 8am to 11am. Following this, we see a gradual decrease in traffic from the Content Delivery providers used by Microsoft, who on this occasion have been capable of servicing more traffic than usual.

Update 06/08/15 – We have now seen traffic drop to near normal levels. If you are still experiencing issues, please contact our broadband support team for assistance.
