Datanet hosted the November networking event for Southern Entrepreneurs.
The networking event kicked off with an enthusiastic tour of the Datacentre. The attendees were even treated to a demonstration ( in the pouring rain) of one of the generators.
Conleth McCallan gave an honest, entertaining and inspirational talk about his business journey.
Having realised that the only way to earn more for his growing family
was to work beyond his 9 to 5 salaried position, Conleth’s entrepreneurial journey began with the selling of satellite dishes and water filters. However, it was the training and recommended resources of a multi-level marketing company that showed him how to build a successful team and the thriving business he has today.
Conleth brought in a number of recommended books amongst which was the much earmarked Alan Sugar book “The Way I See It” ISBN 978-0-230-76089-9 and “Rhinoceros Success” by Scott Alexander ISBN 1-872478-00-X
He also shared a favourite quote from Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar:
