16/02/2009 – Who said Friday 13th is unlucky? Not Datanet!
Datanet was delighted to welcome Aldershot MP and Shadow Defence Minister, Gerald Howarth to their newest datacentre, Aspen House Fleet, on Friday 13th February.
Mr Howarth contacted Conleth McCallan, Managing Director of Datanet following articles he had read about the Company and their recent award from BT for outstanding achievement.
After a short presentation on the latest service available from Datanet, Datanet’s channel partners and customers heard a short address about the economy and the impact on SME’s from Mr Howarth, who then had a tour of the Aspen House Datacentre.
Commenting afterwards, Conleth McCallan said, “We were very encouraged by the recognition of our achievements from Mr Howarth and grateful to him for showing such interest in our business activities. In testing times, such as these, it is reassuring to know that our local Member of Parliament is in touch with the very real issues that businesses are facing.” He continued, “I was particularly pleased that Mr Howarth showed great interest in the latest offering from Datanet, High Availability Virtualised Server Solutions which are providing businesses with financially and environmentally cost effective options.”
