IP Solution Consultant
Forming a vital part of Datanet's Sales Team, this position is not limited and you will be empowered to develop this exciting opportunity into your own role.
As an IP Solutions Consultant you will:
- Generate new business in Datanet's new core field of hosting with added connectivity services
- Provide successful Internet solutions using your technical knowledge about Datanet's products and services
- Work with SME and Corporate clients both face to face and via the telephone
- Understand advanced hosting solutions including virtualisation and build solutions for customers generating profitable business for Datanet
- Develop complex connectivity solutions where appropriate to build leading edge network solutions for customers
- Generate appointments with new and existing clients
- Building strategic partnerships with customers
- Identify ways to develop and improve the range of products and services
- Be measured by revenue and profit targets and by feedback from our internal and external customers
About You
You will be self-motivated, target driven and a team player with a proven track record in sales preferably within an ISP or the IT sector. You will be a fast learner, ready for new challenges, possessing excellent people skills, a great telephone manner, well presented, well organised and able to keep good records with care and attention to detail.

Senior Systems Administrator
We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator experienced in LINUX Servers, MySQL, Mail Servers, Exim, PHP, DNS, Web, Radius and back end systems development. You will be very enthusiastic about IT and Communications, a fast learner, ready for new challenges, possessing excellent people skills, well presented, well organised and possibly experienced in an ISP networking and Datacentre environment. The position is based out of our Fleet offices with responsibility for our systems, largely in our three London Datacentres.
About You:
- Experienced in building and maintaining LINUX Internet applications servers, Apache, FTP, Exim, MySQL, SSH and DNS.
- An understanding of systems security, including hardening, firewalls, penetration testing and intrusion detection.
- Experience in building back end systems with user friendly interfaces using PHP, Perl, Bash scripts.
- Enthusiastic, motivated, organised and with a desire to prove your skills and make a difference in the growth of Datanet.
