Extended offer for Enterprise40 FTTC & Enterprise24 ADSL2+ and Price Change Notice

We are delighted to tell you that Datanet has extended the free of charge activation offer on our Enterprise40 FTTC and Enterprise24 ADSL2+ services.  This offer will now expire on 31st December 2011.

Please note that from 1st January 2012, the FREE activation fee for Enterprise40 FTTC will increase to the new price of £80.00 + VAT.  SoHo40 FTTC will also have an activation fee of £80.00 + VAT.  This is in direct response to an increase introduced by BT.  The activation fee for Enterprise24 ADSL2+ and SoHo24 ADSL2+ will remain unchanged at £40.00 + VAT.

Swift Action by ramsac limited and Datanet.co.uk helps Land & Water with Business Continuity

Over the weekend of 15th and 16th October 2011, thieves uplifted the BT copper wires that supply Land & Water Guildford offices with their Internet connectivity and telephone lines.  Thankfully, Land & Water is supported by Datanet’s channel partner, ramsac limited.  ramsac contacted Datanet’s Managing Director Conleth McCallan to see if any facility could be made available at Datanet’s Aspen House data centre to alleviate the disruption to their business.

Instantly Datanet provisioned secure rack space to house a number of servers and made available office facilities for four staff members from Land & Water.  Speaking from Datanet’s Aspen House data centre, Conleth McCallan said, “Datanet has had a very long standing relationship with ramsac limited and we were delighted to be able to help them to help their customer during this emergency.”

Simon Greenaway, Group Procurement Manager for Land & Water stated in an email to Conleth McCallan, “We wanted to write and express our gratitude for the help which Datanet have given us this week with our server relocation, as well as the complimentary on-going hosting.  Your help is very much appreciated by the board of Land & Water.  We have some projects which you may be able to help with in the future and we (or ramsac on our behelf) will contact you in the coming months.  Thanks again.”
