We have been advised from BT that the fault with one of our Home Gateways is causing, in some cases, total loss of Internet access and intermittent access for some other customers. As soon as we have some indication from BT as to when the service will be fully functional again, we will update our website. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may be causing.

15:15 7th October 2008 As of 15:15 the faulty Cisco hardware causing the problem with some ADSL connections has been identified and reloaded. All circuits are now operating, however, further remedial work will be required and this will be scheduled to take place out of normal working hours. Thank you for your patience and understanding. 14:06 7th October 2008 - Datanet can advise that the outage issue that occurred early this morning which affected one of our three ADSL hostlinks has been identified. Our engineers are currently on site at the London datacentre where this fault lies and we are anticipating a resolution to this problem by mid afternoon. Please accept our sincere apologies for this inconvenience. 09.57 7th October 2008 - We are aware of a problem with one of our three ADSL host links. This will be affecting some ADSL connections. Our engineers are currently working to restore this service as soon as posssible. Any emails will be held securely and forwarded to you once the service is restored.

13/09/08 03:30 Routing problems have now been resolved. 13/09/08 03:00 Emergency maintenance on core routers in progress, routing problems should be resolved within 1 hour. 12/09/08 09:38 Some customer may experience intermittent access to some internet sites, this is due to a routing issue within our broadband network. Our network engineers are working to resolve the problem and return full service asap.

We have this morning experienced a major issue with some of our servers which affected services right across our platforms. Engineers have been on site this morning resolving the issues and now most services are back up. We are still experiencing an issue with email, both inbound and outbound and with our NT web platform. An update will follow on our website once we have a better picture of what has happened.

ADSL Home gateway failure. At approximately 8;55am 06 Feb, a fault occurred on the BT Home Gateway service, through which Datanet's user traffic passes. The second redundant link will continue to operate but customers may experience slow speeds until full service is resumed.

One of the ADSL host links was intermittently dropping ADSL connections. This is due to an issue within BT's Core ADSL network and was effecting multiple ISP's. The issue is currently stable. Datanet and BT are monitoring.

ADSL Home gateway failure. At approximately 3AM Friday 28th Oct, a fault occurred on the BT Home Gateway service, through which Datanet's user traffic passes. Unfortunately, this fault impacted our Core Routing. Outages were experienced across a range of platforms and services lasting until approximately 11.30 AM Friday 28th October, at which time our engineers cleared the fault and restored our core routing. Although the underlying issue has been resolved, customers sessions have had to be reset, and there is a backlog of email waiting to be delivered, both of which we anticipate will be resolved by 1PM. While every effort is made to ensure downtime is kept to an absolute minimum, this fault was beyond our control. We apologise for the outage and can reassure we are taking all measures possible to prevent a reoccurrence.
