Neil Sperring joined Datanet as Technical Director on 5th January 2015
Neil brings with him a wealth of knowledge in connectivity and cloud based technologies. His particular areas of interest and experience include VMware, the entire Microsoft stack both on-premise and hosted in the cloud along with traditional and cloud based networking with vendors such as Cisco Meraki and Juniper.
Neil prides himself on demystifying technology and allowing businesses to become more efficient through its use. Datanet are delighted to have Neil on board and are looking forward to benefiting from his insight both in the technical and commercial arena.

One of Neil’s career highlights is when he successfully delivered the IT infrastructure to thirteen of Her Majesty’s Prisons – That was definitely one highly secure environment in all senses of the word!
After running his own consultancy company specialising in fully hosted and managed IT services, end-user IT support, network support, secure data backup and recovery services, Neil has decided to commit himself full time to Datanet in the role of Technical Director.
But it’s not all work and no play with Neil………..
He is originally from Luton but now lives in Fleet with son Finley, who is 18 months, and that certainly keeps him on his toes! He has a keen interest in motor cars and is also learning to fly light aircraft aiming to achieve his Private Pilot’s License in the year ahead.
