28/10/2004 – Datanet Expand Core Network
Datanet has made a further five-figure sum investment in the expansion of Datanet’s core network. Our technical team have been planning the expansion for some time and the final implementation is taking place now and will be completed over the next month. Included in this Datanet will be expanding the network footprint further in the Telehouse data centre, which is situated in the Docklands – London. Presence in a further data centre will bring a number of benefits to the company including a heightened level of redundancy. Along with the move to Telehouse, Datanet has also heavily invested in new hardware that will sit at the core of the network, the Cisco Catalyst switches in questionare highly regarded for their resilience and extensive routing capabilities. The overall investment comes as Datanet continue to grow from strengthto strength and will provide for an even more resilient and reliable range of Internet services for business.
