After months of rigorous testing, Datanet are pleased to announce that we have been selected by the ISPA, our industry association, as: “Finalists, Best SME Business Hosting 2013.” We have also been chosen for “Best Business Customer Service.” The following is an extract from our submission:

Datanet has been in the hosting business for more than sixteen years, enabling better business and taking pride in the highest level of personal customer care is in our heritage.
• How does your hosting service provide value for money?
Datanet hosting is built on best of breed servers, using VMware and EMC technologies in our own data centre supported by our own on-site engineers and provides a level and quality of service that most SME businesses could not justify in their own right.
• How do you ensure the privacy and security of your customers’ data?
Alongside our ISO9001 quality management systems Datanet is ISO27001 accredited and abides by the codes of “Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability”. Datanet is also implementing “PCI Compliance” and “IL2” registration for the government “G Cloud” programme which amongst others requires us to screen our staff and have stringent data security processing, storage and transmission procedures in place.
• How do you ensure a resilient and reliable service for your end users?
Alongside the pedigree established over sixteen years of hosting, using only the best hardware and software, with VMware, EMC SAN’s accredited engineering support, we utilise best human engineering practises with resilient multi-homed networks all hosted in our wholly owned and managed tier3+ data centre.
• What differentiation do you provide between large business and SME users?
Datanet identifies with SME hosting customers and recognises that they need a high level of personal support, flexibility in billing, the need to visit the data centre and discuss options and challenges with our qualified and experienced hosting, VMware and EMC qualified staff.
